Community Guidelines

TeleVerse is a curated directory built on trust. These guidelines help keep our catalog safe, useful, and welcoming.

These Community Guidelines apply to all content submitted to TeleVerse — listings, reviews, comments, profile bios, and messages sent to our support team. By participating, you agree to follow these standards.

01

Our Values

TeleVerse is built around four principles:

  • Authenticity. Listings represent real communities run by real people.
  • Safety. No content that harms, exploits, or endangers anyone — especially minors.
  • Respect. Disagreements are fine; harassment, slurs, and threats are not.
  • Usefulness. Descriptions should help visitors decide whether to join, not just promote.
02

What We Welcome

We love to feature communities that:

  • Have a clear purpose and active moderation.
  • Provide accurate, up-to-date descriptions and tags.
  • Welcome newcomers and explain their rules upfront.
  • Contribute positively to their topic — from language-learning to open-source development.
  • Engage respectfully with reviews, including critical feedback.
03

Prohibited Content

The following are not allowed on TeleVerse:

  • Illegal activity. Anything that violates the law where the community operates or where TeleVerse is accessible.
  • Sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance — violators are reported to NCMEC and law enforcement.
  • Hate & harassment. Communities whose primary purpose is to attack people based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
  • Violence & terrorism. Content that incites, glorifies, or coordinates violence.
  • Scams & fraud. Pyramid schemes, fake giveaways, phishing, impersonation.
  • Malware. Listings linking to malicious files, botnets, or exploit kits.
  • Weapons & drugs. Sale of illicit drugs, unregulated weapons, or instructions for making them.
  • Doxxing & non-consensual intimate imagery. Sharing others' private information or explicit media without consent.

Borderline content

Some communities may not violate a specific rule but still undermine the spirit of these guidelines (e.g., aggressive multi-level marketing). We may decline such listings at our discretion.
04

Rules for Submitters

When submitting a listing, you must:

  • Be the owner or an authorized representative of the community.
  • Submit only one listing per community — duplicates will be merged or removed.
  • Provide a working invite link that does not require pre-approval where avoidable.
  • Use accurate member counts and avoid inflating numbers.
  • Choose the most specific category; miscategorized listings may be reclassified.
  • Keep your listing's description updated if the community changes scope.
05

Rules for Reviews

Reviews help others choose communities worth joining. To keep them useful:

  • Be honest and describe your actual experience.
  • Avoid personal attacks on community admins or other reviewers.
  • Do not post affiliate links, advertisements, or off-topic promotions.
  • Do not coordinate mass reviews (positive or negative) — this is manipulation.
  • Do not reveal private conversations or member data in your review.

Reviews that violate these rules will be removed. Repeated violations may lead to review privileges being revoked.

06

How We Enforce

Depending on severity and frequency, we may:

  • Issue a written warning.
  • Hide or remove a listing, review, or comment.
  • Reject pending submissions and prevent new submissions for a cooling-off period.
  • Suspend the account temporarily.
  • Permanently ban the account and associated listings.
  • Report illegal conduct to the relevant authorities.

You can appeal a moderation decision by replying to the notification email or contacting support@televerse.click within 14 days.

07

Reporting Violations

If you see a listing or review that violates these guidelines, please report it using the "Report" button on the listing page or visit our Report Abuse page. Provide as much detail as possible. We investigate every report, though we may not always be able to share the outcome for privacy reasons.

08

Changes

These guidelines may evolve as new situations arise. Significant changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
